The team "Combinatoire et Optimisation" of the "Institut de Mathématiques de Jussieu-PRG" organizes a Summer School on Combinatorics. According to the famous quote of a combinatorist, Combinatorics is not only a subject but also a state of mind that goes accross all Mathematics. Indeed, several mathematical fields rely on ideas or objects that are combinatorial in nature. The program of this Summer School emphasizes this plurality of Combinatorics. Three main courses will be given by Cyril Banderier, Srecko Brlek and Jorge Ramírez-Alfonsín. Introductory conferences to other topics will be given all along the week.
The courses will be given on the Jussieu campus of the UPMC.
The organization committee is composed of Jean-Paul Allouche, Éric Balandraud, Julienne Belair, Nadine Fournaiseau and Christine Le Sueur.
This Summer School is financially supported by the laboratory IMJ-PRG and its team C&O, the UPMC (Université Pierre et Marie Curie) and the UFR 929, the CNRS, the GdR TdN, and the GdR IM.
The Summer School « CombinatoireS » will take place from June 29 to July 3, 2015.
The Summer School « CombinatoireS » will take place on the Jussieu campus of the university UPMC,
subway station Jussieu. The seminars will hold in room 101, at the 1rst floor in the corridor 15-16. (Entrance in tower 15.)
